How to use the spelling generator

What do the activities practice?

Word Scramble
Reorder the letters to spell each word.
Missing Letters
Listen for the word and fill in one or two missing letters.
Trace / Copy / Write
Trace the model, copy it, then cover both and write from memory.
Roll and Read
Roll a die, read from the matching row and cross off the word.
Dictation Sheet
Write each word as it is read from the separate teacher script.

Which pages have a teacher key?

Word Scramble and Missing Letters share a numbered key. Dictation has its own teacher script. Trace and Roll and Read are practice activities. When teacher pages are available, Download Teacher Pack saves both PDFs in one ZIP.

How do I give a spelling test?

Download and hand out the Dictation Sheet on its own. Some pages in the full practice pack show the target words for reading and tracing.
